I accidentally swiped on a notification on my Android, and then I tried to remember what notification was about but I could not remember it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It turns out there’s a Notification History feature on Android. I checked Android Notification History and found that I hadn’t turned it on, so I didn’t know what the notification I swiped was about.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to Turn on Notification History on Android<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Open Settings<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Tap Notifications setting<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Tap Notifications history<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Toggle “Use Notification History” to On<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Note: This feature only archives notifications from the moment you enable it onward, keeping a rolling 24-hour log of cleared or dismissed alerts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    I recommend turning on Notification History on Android to avoid accidentally swiping a notification and then wanting to know what it is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
