Something that I knew when I migrated from Windows and Mac.After I learned about Keyboard Shortcuts,I found that there are ways to moving files and folder with <strong>keyboard <\/strong> in Mac.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>First, we must open Window where file(s) or folder(s) you want to move it to. Press Command &#8211; N to open New Finder Window.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This method involving drag and drop with mouse and hold Command key whilst doing it. Just <strong>hold Command key while dragging the file or the folder to another volume (in New Finder Window that you opened above)<\/strong>. That&#8217;s it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There is another method involving mouse too, but this one is using Option key instead. <strong>Select the file or the folder we want to move, then press Command &#8211; C<\/strong>. Navigate to the folder (in New Finder Window that you opened above) where you want to move file(s) or folder(s). Hold the <strong>Option key and right-click the mouse then select &#8220;Move Item&#8221;<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another way is using keyboard shortcuts WITHOUT MOUSE unlike above method. <strong>First, you must copy the file or the folder using keyboard shortcuts Command &#8211; C<\/strong>. Then navigate to the folder (in New Finder Window that you opened above) where you want to move file(s) or folder(s). Finally, <strong>press Command-Option-V<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What do you think about moving files or folders with keyboard (and a mouse) on a Mac?
