We know there&#8217;s a &#8216;<strong>caffeinate<\/strong>&#8216; command to prevent my Mac from going to sleep.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this case, sometimes we just want to be away from my Mac to make coffee, make a phone call, or whatever, and it&#8217;s only for a short time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I use Caffeinate in Mac OS Terminal (Applications > Utilities > Terminal) to prevent my Mac from displaying screensavers when needed. The command I use is &#8216;caffeinate -t \u200b\u200b1800&#8217;. Very strange.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then I changed the command above to &#8216;caffeinate -d&#8217;. This command is caffeinate -d: prevents only the display from sleeping.
