Import author: ()<br \/>\nor create new user with login name:<br \/>\nor assign posts to an existing user:<\/p>\n<p>I FINALLY got the data to import thanks to <a title=\"Workaround for Failed to Import in WordPress\" href=\"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/support\/topic\/failed-to-import-invalid-post-type-possible-workaround\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">this post in wordpress.org forum<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1)<\/strong> <a title=\"7-zip\" href=\"http:\/\/www.7-zip.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Download and Install 7zip<\/a>.<br \/>\n<strong>2)<\/strong>\u00a0Open a directory in your computer where you saved the XML file. Right click on the .XML file -&gt; 7zip -&gt; Add to Archive<br \/>\n<strong>3)<\/strong> Change the &#8220;Archive format&#8221; to <strong>gzip<\/strong> and hit &#8220;OK&#8221;.
