How to use Skype via Windows Remote Desktop?
It’s very easy, when you are remoting, don’t change the Remote Computer Sound option. Find Options >> Local Resources>Remote Computer Sound in Windows Remote Desktop software, please keep the Remote Computer Sound Option to Leave at Remote Computer.
With that option, you retain your Windows audio setting, including Recording Option. Skype need that to make it work
Change to Bring to This Computer will reset your Windows audio setting to RDP audio and leave Recording Option to blank
You shall plug and play your headset to Remote Computer after you are done with setup
