You probably know Safari can resume download. Suddenly, you must shutdown your MacBook for unexpected reasons, for instance it runs out of battery.
You are turning MacBook on after the battery is full, you will find out that there’s no resume command when you resume your download
It sucks when it’s happening in the middle of big files download.
What to do? Clear download window but don’t reset Safari (Edit > Reset)
Safari has saved all downloads in download directory.
Open download directory, find Safari icon with loading bar on it. That shows you can Resume Download. Click it twice before Safari download windowwill pop up ..bingo! Your download back on
