WordPress Export and Import Features are tools for transfer content from one WordPress Installation to another WordPress Installation. There is one thing you should do before import WordPress XML.

You should open wordpress xml in text editor. Find and Replace your previous website or blog URL address with new address.

Script timeout passed, if you want to finish import, please resubmit same file and import will resume in phpMyAdmin
Search and Replace Contents in WordPress Database
Increasing phpMyAdmin import or PHP upload size limit
Downgrade WordPress
Transfer WordPress Blog and Database from server to server
